We absolutely love this restaurant!! amazing art and vibe. We had lunch and the rooftop beautiful view to the street. We has the cherry mole pork belly and the ribeye. Everything was super tasty and fresh.
The food was delicious. It was great to have experienced the street food and then a twist on traditional food in a modern restaurant. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. They were great to talk to and shared lots of intersting things about the local culture and food. We will definitely come back
Incredible experience! The food was extremely delicious, service was great and the views of the church were a spectacular addition to the meal. Highly recommended!
Very nice place for a late day meal and beverage. We did not have reservations but were seated when we arrived. Delightful deco with soothing music. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Good drinks. We had very good service. Beautiful view over roof tops out to the mountains.
The view is great and the food is even better! We had two amazing mezcal cocktails, a beet salad which was earthy and delicious, a flavorful pork belly cherry mole, and the grilled peanut mole pork chop which was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend!
Outstanding. I came across Brio while walking to another restaurant and chose Brio because of the interior design, terrace views, and plant based options. I am so happy I did because the food was delicious. I started with the tomato soup. Piping hot, creamy texture, and beautifully served in a traditional bowl decorated with fresh herbs. I also had the cherry mole with roasted cauliflower, plantain puree, and a salad. Absolutely divine. As I write this I hear raves from the able behind me about the gnocchi, ravioli, and the shrimp. Very, very friendly staff and incredible food, may Brio claim best in Oaxaca for many years to come.
The chef and team were so kind. I am allergic to many of the ingredients in usual Oaxacan food. But with a day's notice, the chef and team prepared a special 'amuse bouche', main course and dessert for me. And the setting was beautiful too.
Excellent dinner at Brio Cocina Local. Excellent view of the Cathedral and fantastic food. Pork Belly was an absolute standout for our meal. Only negative was that they did not have two of the wines we ordered, but this was a trivial issue.
